UTS faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited for our next chapel service on Tuesday, October 12 from 5:30 to 6:15 pm EDT.

  All UTS students, faculty, and staff are invited to Convocation on Friday, October 15 at 7 pm EDT to mark the opening of the academic year 2021-2022.

Invitations will be sent out through Populi.

Students in Dr. Andy Compton's Fall 2021 Divine Principle Lecture course will compete in an online lecture contest on Wednesday, October 27 at 9 pm EDT. All are invited to join the Zoom meeting to view the contest.

Unification Theological Seminary is organizing a special virtual program to honor the memory and legacy of our True Father entitled, “10th Anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Passing: A Special Tribute by Unification Theological Seminary.”

The second part of this two-part event will take place on Thursday, September 1st at 7 pm EDT.

Previous and current seminary presidents, chairmen, along with their wives, will share their personal thoughts about the life of Father Moon, and how they were most impacted through their relationship with him.

UTS faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as members of the Heavenly Parents Holy Community are invited to attend.

This is a two-part event.

On Friday August 19th, Nora and Dr. Hugh Spurgin, Lynn and Dr. Thomas Lynn Walsh, and Betsy and Farley Jones spoke. You can view the recording here.

On Thursday September 1st at 7pm, Theodore and Sumie Shimmyo, Tyler and Hyeyong Hendricks, Thomas and Alexa Ward, and Franco and Chizuru Famularo will speak.

Join UTS as we kick off our Faculty Roundtable series for the new academic year with Dr. Thomas Walsh, President of UTS and Chairman of UPF International.

Dr. Walsh will share about the recent Summit 2022 and UPF Leadership Conference in Korea and its alignment with the upcoming UN International Day of Peace.

Dr. Walsh will also discuss his vision for UTS and its potential role in supporting and informing UPF initiatives.

Mrs. Lynn Walsh, UTS Instructor in Counseling and Peace Studies, will speak on the topic, “Our Greatest Spiritual Path: Relationships.” All are welcome to attend.

You are invited to a Career Development Workshop presented by the Office of Student Life entitled, “Developing an Effective LinkedIn Profile" on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 1 pm ET.

This program will be hosted by UTS President Dr. Thomas Walsh and will feature a presentation by Steven Boyd, Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Life, on the steps to create and maintain a successful LinkedIn profile.

This presentation is part of a series of talks organized by the Office of Student Life in cooperation with the Office of the Provost to aid current UTS students and the broader UTS Community in their career path.

 We would also like to invite you to join us on Saturday April 22, 2023 when we will host: "2023 Research Day: Recent UTS Scholarship in Religion, Science, Peace, and Diplomacy.”

This is our second annual event. At UTS, Research plays a central role in this institution that has been referred to as one of Unificationism’s most important Homes of Thought. Join us Saturday April 22 as a Member of the UTS Faculty and a UTS student are recognized for their contribution in the field.

Our Judges Professors William Lay, Dr. Thomas Walsh, Professor Lynn Walsh, and James Fleming have all made their mark in academic research and we are fortunate that they will join this event live. Prof. Fleming, nationally recognized professor, researcher, author, and UTS alum (1982,) will share some of his will share some of his thoughts on a current project that he is engaged in related to science and religion.

Natascha Phillips, UTS student in the MA in Religious Studies Program, will give the message entitled, "The Value of God's Lineage." Her presentation is based on the research she completed as part of her Master’s Thesis.

All are welcome to attend.

The annual HJI Convocation brings together our entire HJI community, providing an occasion to engage with one another, to deepen and strengthen our relationships, and to reaffirm our shared goals and values.

This is a special occasion you won’t want to miss. Faculty, staff, and students all come together for the Convocation, and during our program, we will hear from our President, our Provost, and our Dean and Associate Dean of Student life about many of the very important and exciting developments taking place at HJI.
